return of the diamond and alyssa’s story
I found my diamond… Yeah….!!!!!
All this time, it was there. Right on top of the dinning table. Warm. And Safe. And Secure!!!!
I’m so happy……..
Too bad, Jo found out about this. I should’ve told him after he bought me a new ring!!!
Today I received a catalog from a jewelry. I keep it, and I’ll show it to him later. Just in case he still wanna buy me something. Because he is such a nice, romantic, cute hubby. Right honey? ***wink***
An update about Alyssa…
Today, I was in the kitchen, cooking spaghetti. As always, she became restless. Acted like a starving child. Crying and screaming and jumping… so impatient.
She knew that she shouldn’t go to the kitchen. We told her that the kitchen floor is a restricted area by pointing the line between the living room (blue carpet) and the kitchen floor (grayish linoleum).
But I guess today, the temptation of the spaghetti is too big to resist. So, she crossed the lines. SEVERAL TIMES!!!
I became angry. On the fifth time, I just pointed my finger to the living room, without saying anything. Of course, with a firm, angry, face. This time, she couldn’t expect any compromise!!!
You know what she did?
She looked back at me. With her firm face full of determination, and pointed to the kitchen floor several times!!!
I guess she was saying, " I wanna be here Mommy. Right on this point! And there’s nothing you can do to change the fact. Any problem with that ??? "
I couldn’t help but smiling…
I know… I know… I’m so weak…
I finally took her out of the kitchen. Put her in the living room. Pointed the carpet. She did the same thing. We ended up hugging and laughing together…
My gosh!!!!
Where did she get that kindda attitude? The determination and the stubbornness…
I couldn’t help but wondering…
If she can do this in her 16months of age, what about when she’s 16 years old?????
I hope by then, me and Jo are wise enough to deal with this little rebel…
